Create a chilled Balearic vibe in the garden and pool room of this north London home.
Design Solution
We divided the outside space into four zones: dining, a bar, exercise area and ‘spa’retreat, ensuring each worked in harmony in finish and tone. Floor tiles and accent colours brought the whole together.
Process
Working in collaboration with the garden designer we created an elegantly balanced outdoor space that complimented the 'spa' retreat in the low-profile pool house, with its sauna and shower room. Inside, we sourced a minimum-depth wood floor to maximise the ceiling height, vinyl hemp wallpaper to resist moisture and all fixtures and fittings in the main space and shower room. For the garden, we chose decorative floor tiles, a handsome outdoor kitchen, modular sofa, Italian eco sun-loungers and accessories. In all, we created a coherent, flexible inside/outside space where our jewellery designer and her family can host fabulous parties with a permanent White Isle vibe.
